Phenix Jet Cayman, a global leader in premium private aviation services, today announced the appointment of Mr. Philipp Kugelmann as Vice President – Sales and Business Development, South East Asia, effective 12 June 2025. Based in Singapore, Mr. Kugelmann will oversee all commercial operations and strategic growth initiatives across the region, reinforcing Phenix Jet Cayman’s commitment to excellence in the ultra-competitive Asian market.

Philipp Kugelmann brings over 18 years of proven sales leadership across Asia-Pacific’s aviation sector. Philipp most recently served as Sales Director for Northern Asia at Bombardier Aerospace (2022-2025). He additionally served as Vice President of Marketing & Sales for EMEA & APAC at MATERNA IPS (2017-2022), where he expanded market share across two continents, and as Managing Director of PhilCo Pte Ltd., advising aviation clients since 2016. Earlier roles showcase his deep regional roots: as Vice President for Apollo Aviation Management and BBAM in Singapore, he managed portfolios of 470+ aircraft and penetrated emerging markets from Mongolia to the Maldives. His technical foundation was forged at Lufthansa Technik, progressing from Key Account Manager in Germany to Regional Manager for Southeast Asia, mastering both operational and client-facing dimensions of aviation services. This unique blend of strategic sales vision, Asian market mastery, and technical aviation acumen positions him ideally to lead Phenix Jet Cayman’s growth across premium market segments.

In his new role, Mr. Kugelmann will spearhead the expansion of Phenix Jet Cayman’s charter, management, and acquisition services across key Asian markets including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, India and Australia. He will enhance the company’s client-centric solutions by leveraging Phenix Jet Cayman’s fully digital management system and the global fleet of ultra-long-range aircraft ensuring unparalleled service standards for discerning travelers. Additionally, Mr. Kugelmann will focus on forging strategic partnerships with corporate flight departments and ultra-high-net-worth individuals to further solidify Phenix Jet Cayman’s position as a market leader in premium private aviation across the Asia-Pacific region.
